Eating Thanksgiving Dinner On Thanksgiving Day Is Not As Cool As It Seems!

My awesome thanksgiving was, as you may have guessed, awesome. My parents are amazing and decided that we were going to go to the city (New York that is!) for Wednesday and Thursday. So in the days approaching, we were confronted with the fact that it was supposed to rain on Thursday. Now the last time we went (I went but I was too young to remember) it dumped buckets and made for a very miserable time. So we weren't sure if we wanted to go because of the weather. However eventually, we just decided to try our luck. And we were very luck. It rained on the way back from the city but it didn't rain during the parade or while we were walking around. It was the best time ever. Admittedly, it was a little cold but we were prepared for that. We went to 30 Rock, The NBC Store, Central Park (which was beautiful),we walked down fifth avenue, and then, the best of all, we went to the Empire State Building. after waiting in line after line and then getting to security and then more lines and more lines we got our tickets more lines and more lines......you get the idea. Eventually, we finally made it to the 86 floor of the Empire State Building. The view from the top was breath taking. Despite the extreme temperatures and incredible wind, it was amazing and we had toms of fun!!!!! I also concluded that there needs to be a Jamba in Burnt Hills. It would make tons of money and everyone would love it. Thursday, we went to the Macy's parade which is very different in person than it is televised. We couldn't really see and of the bands because we were so far away but we could hear them really well. And we saw all of the balloons great. It was a really cool experience. Minus almost getting separated from my parents on a subway so full of people it felt like everything was being squeezed out of you, it was a great two days all in all. And when we got home, we ate grilled cheese for Thanksgiving dinner.
Sincerely,
The Turkey Saver.

P.S. We saw several rats, all of which were disgusting.
